Coming to Phu Quoc, no one can ignore the pristine beauty of The Sao beach, the Khem beach, Fingernail Island (Hon Mong Tay) or Falling Cloud Island (Hon May Rut). The charming vibes bewitching people, stopping them from leaving without feeling so overwhelmed.

    1. The Sao beach

The Sao beach is considered as the most stunning beach in Phu Quoc so many times on the international press. It is famous for the smooth sandbanks in the shape of curved crescents that are limited by the rocks reaching out to the sea. This place is 25 km away from the centre of Duong Dong town. Now there are a lot of services such as

personal watercraft or surfing etc. However, the first things that impress tourists the most are the original nature and the rusticity and friendliness of local people.

    2. Khem Beach

This is a curvy-bowed shape beach, locating quietly and tranquilly between two deep green forests. Tourists enjoy this place because of the peaceful fishing towns and services like kayak or going fishing in Gieng Tien (Fairy Well) or night squid fishing with the price from 200.000VND to 300.000VND each person.

    3. Ong Lang beach

Ong Lang beach doesn’t constantly stretch. It’s interrupted by reefs which is the highlight of the overall view. The water here is crystal clear, depending on different seasons it can be peaceful or fierce. The shores are not very sloping which is ideal for swimming or sunbathing.

    4. The beach in Mong Tay Island (fingernail island)

Being an emerging destination from the start of 2016, Mong Tay Island (14km from Phu Quoc island-district) is compared to the Maldives in Vietnam with the enchanting white sand and blue sea. You need to go to Phu Quoc by plane or ship, then go to An Thoi bay on canoes to Mong Tay Island. Here you can swim, go fishing or dive to inshore coral reefs.

    5. The beach in May Rut Island (Falling Cloud Island)

May Rut Island is 10 minutes on canoe away from Mong Tay Island, 10 km away from An Thoi town towards the West-south. From Sao beach, tourists can hire a canoe with the average price of 500.000VND (can contain 6 people at maximum) or they can go on a wooden boat with the price of 50.000VND each person. This pristine island has sloping beaches under coconut trees, crystal clear water and smooth sandbanks which is suitable for tourists who prefer tranquillity.
