How to transfer from Hanoi city to Ninh Binh

Ninh Binh is famous for its beauty spots such as Tam Co – Bich Dong, Hoa Lu temples, Trang An, Bai Dinh Pagoda, Thien Ha cave, Thung Nham, Mua cave, Van Long Nature reserve.
More and more domestic tourists as well international tourists travel to Ninh Binh to admire the beauty scenery.

Ninh Binh is 100km away from Hanoi, not too far away. Travel time is around 2 hours. How will you travel from Hanoi to Ninh Binh? we suggest some ways:
 
By Train:
It is safe, economical, convenient. There are many train schedules during the day which you refer:

Hanoi Railway station is at 120 Le Duan Street, Hanoi-->> View map
Ninh Binh railway station is at 1 Hoang Hoa Tham str, Ninh Binh-->> View map

You could book the train ticket at baulau.com or 12go.asia. You will receive the voucher via your email, you just print or show the voucher in your phone, laptop, tablet to receive the boarding tickets on the train at the station. You should be at the station 1 hour before departure time.
From the hotel in the city center, it will take 10 -15 minutes by taxi to the Hanoi station.

By Local Bus:
Due to the hot tourist destinations of Ninh Binh so more and more tourists come to visit. The demand of transportation is increased. From Hanoi city, you could go to these bus station for a local transfer to Ninh Binh:
Giap Bat bus station: km 6, Giai Phong street, Hanoi
Nuoc Ngam bus station: No 1, Ngoc Hoi street, Hanoi.
My Dinh bus station: 20 Pham Hung street, Hanoi

There is a bus in every 30 minutes in each bus station.
Price is about 70 000 – 85 000 VND ( 3.5 – 4 USD)
Travel time is about 2.5 hours
 
By Dcar Limousine:
These 15 seat Ford Transit minivans are changed to 9 bigger seats and more comfortable.
The price ticket is about 150 000 VND (7 USD) travel time is about 1.5 hours.
You need to phone them to book in advance or ask your hotels to book for you or you can easily book online at some platforms: 12go.asia, baulau.com, vexere.com

By Taxi:
From Hanoi, you could book a taxi to  Ninh Binh, the fare is about 80 USD. You could book on your own or you can ask the hotel reception to book for you. They are willing to help you this

By Private car:
This way is the same as taking a taxi. However, you will have a better car and it will be no taxi board sign. You need to reserve in advance through travel agents or hotels.
This is more expensive than taking a taxi but it is the most comfortable, the fare is about 100 USD. If your group has from 3 persons, you should use private car transfer.
Pick up any time, anywhere in Hanoi and of course, it is punctual.
 
By Motorbike:
This way is for a round trip. i.e you will have to come back to Hanoi after travelling to Ninh Binh to return motorbikes which you rent in Hanoi city.
We do not recommend you this kind of transportation if you are really not familiar with Vietnam traffic and not really good at driving motorbike.
If you could drive motorbike, you can rent a motorbike with the price 10 – 60 USD/day depending on the model and type of motorbike such as semi-automatic 110 cc Honda Wave or manual gear 150 -250 cc
